PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our drum microfilter is a rotary drum solid-liquid separation equipment. It is mainly used to intercept and separate suspended solids, particulate matter, fiber residues, plankton and other impurities in water. It is commonly applied as a pre-treatment unit in water treatment processes, and can also be used independently for filtration and purification of light wastewater or circulating water.
The main body of the equipment is mostly made of stainless steel, fitted with filter screens of corresponding precision(usually between 0.2mm~3mm). It realizes continuous operation through low-speed rotation of the rotary drum combined with backwashing cleaning. Featuring a high degree of automation and stable operation, it is widely used in factory aquaculture, municipal / industrial wastewater pre-treatment, landscape water purification, industrial circulating water filtration and other scenarios.

WORKING PRINCIPLE
The equipment adopts side-inlet or end-inlet water feeding. The filtration process is as follows:
1. Filtration Stage: Raw water enters the rotary drum. Under gravity, water permeates through the screen and flows out, while solid impurities larger than the screen aperture are trapped on the inner wall of the drum.
2. Discharge Stage: Driven by the drive unit, the rotary drum rotates at low speed. Trapped impurities are carried to the upper area along with the drum.
3. Self-cleaning Stage: High-pressure backwash water sprays onto the filter screen through nozzles, flushing impurities attached to the screen into the collection trough for discharge to complete screen cleaning.
4. Circulating Operation: The cleaned filter screen rotates back to the underwater area with the drum to continue filtration. The whole system can run continuously without interruption.
