Our fine disc bubble diffuser is a high-efficiency oxygen supply aeration device specially designed for wastewater treatment and aquaculture water treatment systems. It adopts premium EPDM or silicone rubber membrane with more than 8500 micro pores(for 9 inch aerator), which can produce large quantities of ultra-fine and dense bubbles.
With large gas-liquid contact area and low aeration resistance, the aerator greatly improves oxygen transfer efficiency and saves blower energy consumption. When the aeration system stops working, the micro holes close automatically to effectively prevent sewage, sludge and impurities from backflowing into the pipeline, avoiding blockage and extending service life.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
When the fine bubble diffuser is in operation, air is delivered by a blower or air compressor through the air distribution pipeline to the base of the diffuser, then enters the space between the membrane and the base via the air holes on the base. When the air pressure reaches a certain level, the tiny pores on the membrane open. Air is released into the water in the form of fine bubbles through these pores. These fine bubbles rise slowly in the water and fully contact with the water body, expanding the gas-liquid contact area, so as to improve oxygen dissolution efficiency. It supplies sufficient oxygen for microorganisms in water and optimizes the decomposition and purification of organic matter in wastewater.
STRUCTURAL COMPOSITION
Membrane: Usually made of EPDM rubber or silicone. It features good flexibility, corrosion resistance and anti-aging performance. A large number of tiny pores are evenly distributed on the membrane, through which air is discharged into water as fine bubbles.
Base: Generally made of ABS plastic. It mainly supports and fixes the membrane, and serves as the connector to the air distribution pipeline, ensuring structural stability and air-tight gas transmission.
Air Distribution Pipeline: It transports air from the blower or air compressor to the diffuser. Corrosion-resistant pipes such as ABS and UPVC pipes are commonly used. Fittings including tees, cross joints, elbows and regulators are installed on the pipeline to realize even air distribution and flow adjustment.
