PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
The multi-disc screw press sludge dewatering machine adopts fixed and moving ring self-cleaning structure, effectively preventing clogging. It runs automatically with low energy consumption and small footprint. Suitable for dewatering oily, low-concentration sludge from municipal, food, aquaculture and chemical wastewater.
Working principle
When the machine is in operation, sludge enters the mixing tank from the feed inlet and is pushed by the rotating screw flights toward the discharge outlet. As the pitch between the screw flights gradually decreases, the pressure acting on the sludge increases continuously, and dewatering begins under this pressure differential: water is squeezed out through the filtration gap between the fixed rings and the moving rings. Meanwhile, the self-cleaning action between the fixed plates and the moving plates sweeps the filtration gap to prevent clogging. After sufficient dewatering, the sludge cake is pushed out from the discharge outlet by the screw shaft.
